Achievement First is a non-profit charter school management organization that operates a growing network of high-performing, K-12 public schools in Connecticut and New York.

American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence
ABCTE recruits, prepares, certifies and supports dedicated professionals to improve student achievement through quality teaching.

Core Knowledge Foundation
The Core Knowledge Foundation is an independent, nonprofit, and nonpartisan organization. The Foundation staff conducts research on curricula; develops books and other materials for students, parents, and teachers; and serves as a training and communications hub for schools using Core Knowledge.

Education Trust
The Education Trust promotes high academic achievement for all students at all levels—pre-kindergarten through college. Our goal is to close the gaps in opportunity and achievement that consign far too many young people—especially those from low-income families or who are black, Latino, or American Indian—to lives on the margins of the American mainstream.

The National Center for Fair & Open Testing (FairTest) advances quality education and equal opportunity by promoting fair, open, valid and educationally beneficial evaluations of students, teachers and schools. FairTest also works to end the misuses and flaws of testing practices that impede those goals.

Foundation for Educational Choice
The Foundation for Educational Choice for Educational Choice, a non-profit organization established in 1996 as the Milton & Rose D. Friedman Foundation, was founded upon the ideals and theories of Nobel Laureate economist Milton Friedman and economist Rose D. Friedman: The best way to improve the quality of elementary and secondary education is to give all parents the freedom to choose the schools that work best for their children.

The Hechinger Institute on Education and the Media
The Hechinger Institute exists to equip journalists with the knowledge and skills they need to produce fair, accurate and insightful reporting. Since its launch in 1996, the institute has sponsored more than 63 seminars for journalists who write, editorialize or edit coverage of education.

The National Council on Teacher Quality is a nonpartisan research and advocacy group committed to restructuring the teaching profession, led by our vision that every child deserves effective teachers.

New Teacher Project
Founded by teachers, The New Teacher Project was formed in 1997 to address the growing issues of teacher shortages and teacher quality throughout the country.

Teach for America
Teach For America is the national corps of outstanding recent college graduates and professionals of all academic majors and career interests who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools and become leaders in the effort to expand educational opportunity.
