Alternative Learning

Online/Cyber Schools
Also known as "digital learning," these programs offer a significant portion of their instruction and curriculum online. Many are available free of charge to parents through the state's public education system.
Private Schools
Private schools are non-public traditional schools. They may be religious or may specialize in a particular instructional philosophy. Parents pay tuition, and many private schools offer financial aid and scholarships.
Public Schools
Public schools are state-run traditional schools. They are governed by federal, state and local education regulations and are paid for by taxpayers.
